  APPLICATION
This cone twin-screw roller head extruder integrates functions of a twin-screw extruder with a
two-roll calender, and is intended for installation under an internal mixer. It can form the material discharged from the internal mixer into contimuous rubber sheet that
is supplied to a rubber
sheet-cooling machine.
STRUCTURE FEATURE
1. The screws are made of cast alloy steel and chrome plated on the thread
    zone. Each screw is directly connected to a gear reducer, and two gear
    reducers' input shafts are connected each other by a universal
    coupling, and two screws are driven by a DC motor reversely.
    Counter-rotating screws exclude need of mechanical pushers.
2. The extrusion barrel is made of case steel and chrome plated on the
    inner surface. Hopper section is equipped with sensors for measuring of
    compounds level.
3. The extrusion barrel is double-walled disign and the screw is hollowed
    for water-cooling.
4. Calender rolls are made of chilled cast iron. Each end of the roll is
    connected with one of two output shafts of a gear speed-reducer
    through a universal joint separately and is driven by a DC motor.
5. Temperature control device controls temperatures of screws, extrusion
    chambers and calender rolls.
6. Roll clearance can be continuously adjusted by adjusting devices
    according to requirements of production.
7. The machine is controlled by the PLC. The PLC provides continuously
    adjustable speed of the machine according to the type and quantity of
    compounds.
